• promoting the introduction and development of modern methods for monitoring, diagnosis and prevention of infectious diseases of humans, animals and plants with attraction of methods of classical, recombinant and nanobiotechnology;
• promoting the quality of education in the field of human, veterinary medicine and biology;
• promoting continuous postgraduate professional development in the field of human, veterinary medicine and biology of Ukraine, implementation of the latest European, American and international recommendations on monitoring, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases in the context of the “One Health” approach;
• promotion of the “One Health” approach for higher executive bodies in the field of health and veterinary medicine, plant quarantine and environmental protection, among experts in related fields, applicants for higher and postgraduate education, as well as the public;
• collection, study and analysis of information related to quantitative and qualitative indicators of effectiveness of monitoring, diagnosis and prevention of infectious diseases in the fields of health, veterinary medicine, plant quarantine and environmental protection;
• consulting assistance for specialists in the field of health care, veterinary medicine, plant quarantine and environmental protection;
• improvement of continuous professional development of human and veterinary medicine doctors, specialists in environmental safety and plant quarantine;
• participation in the manner prescribed by law in the development and implementation of targeted programs, regulations and draft laws and regulations in the context of the implementation of the “One Health” approach in Ukraine;
• cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the State Food and Consumer Service of Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the National Branch Academies of Ukraine and their regional offices in the context of the One Health approach in Ukraine;
• promoting the level of general medical, veterinary and environmental education in society;
• organization and participation in training and educational activities, conferences, congresses, etc. on the implementation of the “One Health” approach;
• organization and holding of scientific and practical conferences, workshops, congresses, trainings, round tables for medical doctors, pharmacists, veterinarians, biologists, biotechnologists and ecologists of Ukraine in the context of the “One Health” approach;
• conducting distance professional development of doctors by organizing web conferences, online trainings on topical issues related to the implementation of the “One Health” approach;
• cooperation with foreign international and regional organizations, professional associations and associations to share experiences, conduct research, develop diagnostic, monitoring and prevention tools, conduct joint educational activities for doctors, pharmacists, veterinarians, biologists, biotechnologists;
• involvement of the leading scientific and pedagogical specialists of universities, academies, research institutes of Ukraine and foreign institutions in order to implement the “One Health” approach;
• promotion of the principles of the “One Health” approach;
• presentation of the “One Health” approach in Ukraine and abroad;
• promotion of material and financial values ​​to provide assistance in combating risks and threats to human, animal, plant and environmental health in the framework of the “One Health” approach;
• assistance in research of new immunobiological, pharmacological agents, food, feed, feed and food additives, medical and biological equipment, diagnostics and prevention, disinfection, implementation of new methods of monitoring, diagnosis, treatment and prevention (traditional and non-traditional) human, animal and plant diseases in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine;
• cooperation with pharmaceutical and veterinary companies and manufacturers of medical, veterinary and laboratory equipment to support clinical trials of new immunobiological and pharmacological drugs, tools, equipment for medical, veterinary and general biological practice and their subsequent implementation in human and veterinary medicine, veterinary medicine the legislation in Ukraine;
• cooperation with medical, veterinary, general biological, environmental, social, human rights organizations in twin cities;
• participation in the organization and organization of joint research with research institutes and departments of medical, veterinary and biological institutions of higher education;
• development and implementation of new strategies, models, mechanisms, technologies, programs, forms, methods and ways of development of monitoring, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infectious diseases in the fields of health, veterinary medicine, food, biological and environmental safety;
• publishing of information materials, professional periodicals, scientific, educational and methodical and reference literature on human, veterinary medicine, plant quarantine, food, biological and environmental safety.

The One Health Institute, NGO actively establishes ties with the scientific, educational and business communities for the development and implementation of scientific, educational and scientific-practical national and international projects in the field of veterinary, human medicine, biological and food safety.
